As part of its commitment to education and the development of professional talent in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field, PT Bintai Kindenko Engineering Indonesia (BINKEI) is hosting the BINKEI Mengajar program on May 29-31, 2024, at SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare, Kediri.
This initiative is one of BINKEI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at providing students with a broader perspective on career prospects and opportunities within the MEP construction industry. Under the theme “Building a Career & Creating Impact in the MEP Construction Industry,” BINKEI hopes to inspire the younger generation to be better prepared for the workforce, particularly in the engineering and construction sectors.
A total of 116 students from SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare participated in this program with great enthusiasm. The event was led by Fitri Hendi Prasetiyo (Senior Engineer at PT BINKEI), a professional with extensive experience in national-scale MEP projects.
In addition to the theoretical sessions, BINKEI also organized practical sessions and simulations that gave students a hands-on experience of working in the MEP field. During these sessions, participants were guided through the fundamentals of mechanical and electrical installations, as well as workplace safety practices that need to be implemented on-site.
The simulation aimed to equip participants with practical experience that they could apply when entering the workforce. This approach aligns with BINKEI’s vision of creating a competent, job-ready workforce with high competitiveness in the construction industry.
With the success of the BINKEI Mengajar 2024 program, BINKEI hopes to continue contributing to the development of human resources, especially in the fields of engineering and construction.
